A note from the founder and creator of

Mother|HER

Digging into the roots of my wounds has been raw, messy, and downright life-altering. Learning to re-mother myself wasn’t just healing—it was rebellion. It gave me the backbone to stand tall as a woman instead of crumbling as a wounded child. This journey has been brutal, beautiful, and the greatest gift of my life—one that finally brought me home.

Meet Amanda

Amanda is a no-BS, trauma-informed counselor and MindBody therapy practitioner with 25+ years of experience guiding people back to themselves. She started in Child and Youth Work studying developmental psychology and supporting at-risk youth in communities and education systems, later she diving into holistic wellness. But it was working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual exploitation that cracked her wide open. witnessing first-hand how trauma, conditioning, and deep-rooted wounds keep women stuck in cycles of self-abandonment, guilt, and disconnection. Confronting her own mother wound, she ditched the band-aid fixes and went all in on deep, embodied healing—because healing isn’t about fixing yourself; it’s about remembering your wholeness.

Now, Amanda creates spaces for women to break free from outdated narratives, rebuild trust in themselves, and own their stories—messy, raw, and powerful. She believes healing isn’t about perfection but about presence, self-trust, and learning how to mother yourself in ways you never received or never knew you needed. Through her rebellious, heart-centered approach, she helps women stop playing small, set unapologetic boundaries, and step into the fullest expression of who they are—without the shame, without the guilt, and without waiting for permission.

Amanda blends expertise with a sharp intuition, creating a space where real healing happens. Her mission is to help women break free from old narratives, reclaim their stories, and reconnect with their inner power—building lives rooted in self-trust, resilience, and unapologetic authenticity.

We often don’t know what’s getting in the way of moving forward and why we are stuck. Once we do, we are a f*cking force of Mother Nature.
